But Barz and I didn't synchronize very well and I kept getting bashed so I was barely able to get off any offensive spells - I shoulda cured some but was afraid I'd have missed the low elf by taking that time. So I took the chance of catching him with raw hitting power (almost cost me!) and a bash then bolting. I didn't want to get incapped by trying to cast first - get hit to incap - then rip cause I didn't get the first hit on. Anyway, thanks to Barzikon it turned out well.

2008/11/30 04:09, Rukhnam:   My quick bolts eat a lot of mana it seems. And they don't seem that much faster :< That's why I've been relying on usually casting them when the enemy is bashed. But your suggestion is one of the new (to me) modes of thought of coming from pure warrior (Trample) so much. It's hard to relax the ole KILL ENEMY NOW reflex (hehe) and allow the more controlled, intellectual magic-user side to come out. Eventually, I'll get used to it. Unfortunately, right now, I'm not there. :P

2008/11/30 05:37, Vrool:   qbolt is very fast, I remember one panic and they would eat it. You really need to learn how to use your spells and bashing at the same time. Also a qburn would almost be instant, and be a nice way to supplement your damage and finish people off, usually a bolt is better.

Character-Name:   anonymous-flag (don't link profile)   Advice:  Let the above textbox do the line-wrapping and do only use Return/Newline to end or start a new paragraph. That way your comments will look nice! If you use long text-strings without spaces ( >50 characters), they will be cut to a decent size and info will get lost.
