I was overwhelmed by the spam, which was made worse by my mps and had trouble doing anything at all.. you guys were quick and the element of surprise helped a lot imo

You call that element of surprise ? You could've simply locked the door and wait a little or track where they went and pass uruks s e from stairway. Or take the other way. You had all the chances you get and you chose the easiest one.
Umm, we didn't know what to expect in stairway, but we entered and let him block anyway? What I mean is we didn't know the situation going in (who would be best to target etc). All we knew was scorponok was there, and in panic I failed to come up with a winning plan.. fair?
Also please realize that yeah they might of play better but they also had level on me atleast being only lvl 26 and so those 2 plus charmie really put in their favour! what but what ever! they won good for joel and eljat!

The sancted warrior (even if just purple sanc but by cleric) made up for the scrolls imo. And i'm just lvl 31 bn so dont know about the level advantage!
