Fair enough, but it's still vs a combo with staff, not shield, and -50 mana. I think it was well done. Loko might have won if he had stayed aggressive.
Loko would have won if he didn't switch to slashing, that was a stupid move. Wimpy concussion versus an unarmed troll does very nice damage, although he might have had a little more damage returned to him as well.
I think Loko did a perfectly fine job. The intermission was funny, since you had spear he was probably waiting for you to hit for return damage. At the same time, if you would have been bashing he could have been toast as well.
And last remark, I think a spear is not lame, it's a weapon with certain features and weaknesses (the damage is pretty shit for example). Very smart play. I like the log!
nor to mention that spears can interrupt bashes...

*agree* Narugil, pretty ballsy for a barehanded solo troll to try and PK these days. Then again, he is level 50, so he does stand a chance against these ridiculous combos.

I don't think I've played good there. I really should have quaffed mana cup much earlier there as well as I should have tried to use my pbs in the middle of the fight. I wielded sword because of the spear - I thought I would get less keep-at-bays with it as well as I wanted to land one more spell. Unfortunately it didn't work, since my defense was not enough to get bolt in, so I proceeded with quake, which only resulted in me eating nasty debris and having no more mana.

On a sidenote, yeah Loko's char, and especially his armourspell looks really strong in this log. I counted 24 hits to incap, and that's from a L55 troll, most of the hits were unarmed too. Even if you had a chance to rearmour once, your armour seemed to hold up for a long time, which is pretty sick.
For some strange reason it got vote from Gaar ( while i rated as Narugil) . but the rate would be same :)
i was really really amazed to see how this all happened but its a log from Svarten so i cant give more stars.

Are you saying you think Svarten is a wimpy troll? hmm I think he's one of the few trolls, along with Loundja who actually play as trolls (ie nothing to lose). All cred to them.
Most other trolls look in the mirror and see full shining metal when they're actually wearing only a fgc and boots.
Its probably wrong to say that he is wimpy. Its always about point of view. he playes in a way he likes and if this doesnt fit to me/others then its just my/our problem. at that moment when voted i felt like that - according to log and his playstyle as overal.
