So I almost died like a spamming newbie :) After Daz ripped I fled horribly to shady and almost died a million times there to venom. Vecna was around but afraid to enter shady I guess, he coulda finished me off with a bolt. Later on Sleth died (the other orc)

Daz was out of moves, or what? he ate several arrows, but woulda died to that venom anyway - though you would have died too, if he had just spammed u/d with sneak on. Done it several times (vs. Armodo in moria, Some N**** elf sneaker in trapdoor e bree for example) long enough for the block to wear off .)
