well the case in this instance was I was fighting some zorc west of noc, girlfriend came upstairs so I spammed to takhr, had noquit so I just left game alone and went to see what she wanted.

She wanted to go get a movie so we went. When I got back this happened.

How do you tell if someone is afk or linkless without flag anyways? I've lost link numerous times and never gotten flag, because if your cable modem crashes, mume still registers you as logged in, and you will NEVER get flag unless you have nodrop set.

Anyways, from my point of view linkless and afk are the same thing, you are killing someone who can't fight back, which is by no means part of the game to me, but something outside it, like you want to be the best so bad but can accomplish it no other way, you hate the person who isn't fighting back enough to do this just to try and make them mad, or some other wierd reason.

I wonder what your reasons for playing mume are that you justify killing a player who is afk as something you want to do, cause it can't be fun or challenging (at least I hope not).

btw I was learning to play orc when I was in usa and yes I died alot ... Exactly Nazgum! Now notice: I never blamed ANYONE during 4 years of pk for killing me non-linkless (nobody killed me afk non-linkless still, because I drop link everytime I go afk). Because, in fight I can fight for myself, and at least try to do something to prevent me from dying.

Now compare:
1) You get killed linkless/afk - you can't defend yourself, you can't even ask enemies to not do lame stuff which ruins your fun.
2) Your staff gets looted after you die - you can't defend it, you can't even ask enemies to leave it and not ruin your fun (unless you log in Ainu char which is pretty illegal).

Don't you notice that these things are BOTH out-of-control? And both ruin someones fun for no (or little) profit? Once again, let me repeat, try to remember the feeling and don't ruin anyones fun anymore - and maybe some day even the most lame players realise that their actions don't fit in such world, and stop doing it?
