2003/05/04 22:22, Odif:
Absolutely nothing great, but some people asked to see it.

2003/05/04 22:27, Astroc:
Nu är det slut på snål-lootandet, allt eq ska lootas i framtiden, allt ska burnas, allt ska försvinna.

2003/05/04 22:37, Mõmmi:
Actually it is really great that he died - that Astroc and blacksword were a pain in the ass to others hunting around noc.

2003/05/04 22:38, Odif:
Fyi that means I will loot everything in the future, everything shall be burned, and I think that Astroc is trying to say I should not have looted his full fine chain, sables with scrolls and rocks, ornate, black sword, gleaming etc, but hey, I could be wrong.

2003/05/04 22:41, Eolo:
ROFL... i can remember all pukes around noc narrating to kill him :P

2003/05/04 22:59, Astroc:
Thing is, I´ve killed you like 2-3 times solo, and I only looted 1 thing from the corpse, but you get all from my corpse, and you don´t even leave my staff.

2003/05/04 23:11, Odif:
Note: I DID leave your staff, and I can think of one time you have killed me solo.

2003/05/05 01:50, Everhate:
Quit whining you pathetic sissy. If you cant handle that dying might mean the loss of your pathetic pkill crutch, maybe killing brown bears near GH would be more suitable to your demeanor.

2003/05/05 02:33, Daevia:
Jeff, you need a vacation to Cancun or something.

2003/05/05 04:48, Deimus:
I sure wish Axel would enforce the post-only-in-english rule. How many other rules can we get away with breaking?

2003/05/05 05:54, Gwokk:
I agree with Deimus 100%

2003/05/05 07:51, Dynamit:
Pah, become multi-lingual like the rest of the world

2003/05/05 08:38, Gray:
Now who is pathetic sissy here Everhate? If he didn't loot almost anything from Odif - maybe death still doesn't mean loss of ALL eq after all? Cruel bastard.

2003/05/05 09:12, Bornback:
dynamit sure knows whats his talking about :)

2003/05/05 11:18, Björn:
Blacksword needs to be upgraded, Astroc had no chance here :(

2003/05/05 11:20, Eolo:
I agree with Deimus... It's a commenting rule...
And not everyone can read it...

2003/05/05 11:36, Astroc:
Maybe you weren´t supposed to read it. Not everything is your business.

2003/05/05 13:17, Durcano:
then use some other ways to tell it. u posted it on public w/o message
that it is to him only.

This makes it my business, Astroc!

2003/05/05 16:29, Hate:
Dont know what eq. Astroc or Odif had but my question is...:-* If im die with my plain stuff to fullset enemy (he doesnt loot anything, he doesnt need plain shirt or fgc) and then next day i kill that enemy.. im able to loot him without break any suppossed honour rule? :)

2003/05/05 21:00, Gray:
Hate, I doubt you don't understand what me and Astroc are talking about... It was about eq that can be used by 1 side only (I mean USED, not destroyed by giving to some mob for miserable reward). How does it matter if you are naked or fullsetted if you can't use it anyway?

2003/05/06 04:40, Oscarmeyer:
Gray: as most know, I don't loot a staff (or warrior eq, or other useless stuff to me) unless the person is a linkless killer or total ass. BUT, if by destroying said piece of eq you gain a scroll, or xp for levels to better fight your enemies, it is being used indirectly. And have you ever complained or hesitated to loot a nice set of lockpicks with all the darkie upgrades?

That said, sorry to the dwarf from whome I looted an MDA tonight. I didn't realize I actually picked it up from the corpse until much later, and I wasn't about to cheat and go back to drop it.

2003/05/06 05:24, Drakmar:
Hate, what Gray is saying, is that he is crying about staves yet again. I find taking someone's staff to be weakening an enemy, and why wouldn't you want your enemy at its weakest?

Astroc should learn that if he posts it on a public forum, it is our business..

2003/05/06 06:22, Deor:
Loot everything!!11111ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

2003/05/06 09:16, Gray:
Oscar: it's all about rl time. What do you gain for giving staff to shaman, 5k? Return me my staff 20 times, and I suicide one of my other legends to you. Ok, at least 10 times! It takes 1 hour max to gain 100k, while it takes zounds and zounds of hours to create that many staves. Same goes to sapphire rings. Pbs is of course another story - few can stand temptation to get a scroll!

General rule is much simplier though: compare your gain and other people's loss. If you loot a piece of shining, you gain it and another player loses it - it evens out. Looting foci, you gain 5k while your opponent loses much, much, much more. Of course, it this way of thinking requires ability to think about other people around, so it can be impossible for egoists...

2003/05/06 15:26, Astroc:
Drakmar, schhhh, be quiet. You´re all morons and weirdos and all that, all of you exept me and Gray. Gray understands me!

2003/05/06 15:36, Moortek:
Well Gray and Astroc. I have had same thought as you, til I start play orc etc. No puke EVER spares a shit from darkies corpse. So whats the damn meaning of beeing nice over and over and drop this damn staff? None at all, cause you will get spamlooted next time anyway. I have learned no point saving those silly overpowered sticks.

2003/05/06 16:53, Eolo:
since it's not of my business, don't post it, genius.

2003/05/06 16:56, Uldrak:
Gray those 5k staves are really nice, I have gotten some 200k exp from them and if I am not mistaken Azazello has gotten several 100.

2003/05/06 17:12, Astroc:
Well, people I´ve fought a lot with different chars, and that I have killed, I usually leave everything exept golds and draughts, scrolls etc. And when they later kill me, they do the same, but some just don´t...

2003/05/06 17:25, Eolo:
About killing and looting:

I have noticed many people kill, loot only gold, sable and rings, for example, and then comes another guy (from the same side of the victim, or no) and loots the rest... Happened to me (twice pukes looted nice stuff of mine the killer left behind), happens to all...

I, for example, rarelly loot all of those ones i kill... Only if some friend of mine needs eq. The other day i killed someone with nice metal set, and i wouldn't full loot if a warrior friend wasn't in need.

What i hate (happened to me tons of times) is when someone loots you and keeps walking and dropping stuff along the way... 'collecting the garbage' is tiresome... hehehehe... At least i try to drop in the place the corpse is :P

2003/05/06 17:25, Fankil:
Fucking ridiculous to expect that you're equipment will be left. What the fuck is happening on MUME? This just makes me want to loot more and more, and play orc more and more.

Implement 100% mandos sleep, that's the only true and good solution. God damn wiener-schnitzels.

2003/05/06 23:21, Jocke:
Agree with Fankil. 100% mandos sleep -> none gets his EQ back -> a lot more fun.

2003/05/07 08:32, Gray:
Moortek: stop fighting greedy bears at crack, log your bn and come Tharbad? If you load brd or gleam you can of course expect it be looted - but your staff/chain/amulet/dcs/etc will be pretty safe. At least whem I'm in kill. Ask Zimrathon for example.

Uldrak: re-read my previous comment once again, if needed. And consider this FACT: if your opponent knows that you are not going to loot his foci, he doesn't care much about dying, starts berserking and you have much higher chance to kill him. Now compare exp from destroying foci and exp from extra legend kills.

2003/05/07 20:36, Uldrak:
What a load of crap Gray :P
Maybe 1% of the mume population starts 'berserking' as you call it if they know you won't loot their foci, and that % I don't care about. Gray come and die to me? I promise I won't loot your staff, really I promise. And yes 100% mandos sleep would rule, so we get rid of these godamn whiners.

2003/05/08 09:35, Gray:
1% looks like heavy underestimation... As about 'really I promise', well *shiver* taking into account your previous comments I'm afraid I can't trust you THAT much. Well, we'll see. Besides, to kill me you have to at least hunt in/around Eregion/Tbad - with my 80-200ms link I have no chance in bottlenecks of NOC.
