Very nice, I would like to see this log in the 'notables' section!

2003/09/16 07:17, Zildjian:
I don't know if you read random runes, or whatever, but he was linkless. Lucky nonetheless.

2003/09/16 07:30, Sardotjen:
Hehe, nice kenzu!

2003/09/16 07:35, Mafaz:
Wonders whos... ->a bejewelled oak staff

2003/09/16 07:36, Alantir:
He moved 1 seconds before stab, so if he lost link you can't blame Sabish. Doesn't make this log any worse either, don't think having link would've saved him (he obviously used the link he had to move, instead of refreshing armour... that's what it looks like in the log atleast)

2003/09/16 07:38, Zildjian:
I'm not blaming him, Alantir. I'm just saying. :) If anyone is to blame it is that silly management!

2003/09/16 07:40, Snarp:
Yeah, he was ld. A strange place to stop, but it was not obvious at all.

2003/09/16 07:44, Wridush:
Shitty! Even a log about my death! I had been fighting Smooth who stabbed me to wounded, and pierced me to bad while I harmed him hurt.

Decided not to stick around once I saw you while spamming. Hit filthy, decided to rearmour since link decided to act up with a freez, then typed dirs to DT door, and moved two rooms, then entire link went bye-bye...

Poopie!

2003/09/16 07:45, Wridush:
And I have no idea who's staff it was. It was on some dwarf who died cloakroom, and I said '5k xp! Yummy!'

((OOC: Fyi, I leave staff if I know the caster personally, or like him))

2003/09/16 07:53, Rogon:
Alantir, how would having link _NOT_ have saved him? If he hadnt lost link, he obviously would have kept moving and not been stabbed. Seens like the very definition of surviving vs not surviving.

Not blaming the stabber mind you, i would have stabbed him too. Just curious how alantir came to that conclusion.

2003/09/16 07:56, Sabish:
The other reason to post this log was to show that I couldn't have known if he was linkless or not. Shitty reason, but it makes me feel better...

2003/09/16 08:12, Guido:
nice luck :)

2003/09/16 08:31, Fëagil:
Well not really a strange place to stop to narrate 'Zorc eoghha blabla', so was really no blame on the stabber here. Comfs on linklessdeath though :(

2003/09/16 09:27, Gray:
Not your fault of course... but F***ING MANAGEMENT'S FAULT!

2003/09/16 10:25, Rogon:
He was linkless like 5 seconds. He wouldn't have gotten a flag with linkdrop either. And it's not the management's fault. It's the whiners fault. Hi gray.

This new linkless thing is just too sad...

This week i have lost link 2 times around noc, and one of them was in slag... In both opportunities when i reconnected i saw sneaking orcs around... In the first time i guess i was really spared... and in the second Griand was about and yelled to darkies i was linkless.

It's just luck :o/

2003/09/16 16:05, Kao:
Isnt there a news about linkless flag? I think only the same side can see it.

2003/09/16 16:27, Durandir:
Same side can see the flag indeed. Anyhow, was a nice kill. You got evil align since you can weild that knife, right?

2003/09/16 16:43, Vecna:
*tilt* Durandir. Of course he has evil alignment...
Anyway, sucks to die linkless.

2003/09/16 18:10, Filk:
he zorc

2003/09/16 21:34, Hana:
good aligned zorc?
*ponder*

2003/09/16 23:03, Tars:
At lowlevel <25 i was good aligned, i wielded glowstick and used pbs. Rocked.

2003/09/17 21:15, Gaulgon:
Well it's not Managment's fault, your all know that if Wridush would have the (linkless) flag, he would have stabbed, most players in this game kill ld ppl, so its just Sabish's good luck and Wridush's bad one.
