The real escape from Alcatraz was back (Mume III) when there was a trapdoor in the Bree jail and you could come out via randoms near Guilded Ghost area...

IIRC, there was a way into the tunnels from Golden Caves, but there was a one way exit out near oer rock... I never tried going back in since there was a water DT. Going out was not problem.. just head west and south in general.

They probably got rid of the escape tunnels to keep people from xping on Bree mobs *heh* *blink*

Hehe, I think they should rebuild that Maze under Bree. But also make some kind of quest which rewards the player with the Bree's Jail-key. But don't make the maze random, but a big place with tons of one-ways and quite some closeables.
