Let me recall some statistics... yeah, in harsh reality of encounters with Malus score looks something like this: BRD 0 - Sting 10+

But ok seriosly, just search this log for word 'pierce'. Two decent pierces total, both from elf. All serious damage was done using other weapons, title of log is kind of misleading.

In such multiroom fights, bow is usually much more useful. The only alternative would be sting combined with nice ob and finechain/shining worn. Looking at all dodges, it seems Basmanova was in wimpy mood with plain set worn.

Kicked you down from Fornost to stonedoor, no stabs - no poison. Just pierced all the way from fine to dead. Can dig it from powwow logs junkyard and mail you to refresh your memories.

Point is, good kills in log, but it has absolutely nothing to do with either sting or brd since none of these really were used, for purpose or not.

People who whine on p(Estel) whine on p(Norsu) too.., yes, I do compare the two, why? They were both extremely good fighters and got their tactique through. Ostu played a magic-user very well, he did whack those two scouts on his own, the scouts did fear him and run home/camp at the sight.

I remember myself behing somewhat respected among whities, and it was because alot of people died to me, not because of my levels. Stop disrespecting succesful people, they whacked, and they did it good. This log wasn't worth shit and Estel did own you all. I'm stoned.

Sting makes a nice difference, but this difference is even better if the character is a pure scout. I've tried it as pure scout and as warscout... And I can comment that it doesn't rock as much as it rocks if you're a purescout.

Afaik, Basmanova isn't a purescout, btw.

Nazgum always seemed much more dangerous as a combo than a purescout imo. sure he has levels, but I'm sure a lvl 60+ puke scoutcombo could be pretty lethal if made the right way.
