 Very nice, I would like to see this log in the 'notables' section!

*nod Jenzn* Come on, why use actions at all? When your opponent is on a link slow enough and clueless enough, you don't even need to prespam. Just watch where it flees, go to that room, kill $target, rinse and repeat. When you have enough firepower/opponent is low enough, it will die, but usually it will get smart enough to prespam some rooms before dying. :)

This is the most advanced client hotkey config you'll ever need:
{NUM7} -> {exits}
{NUM8} -> {n}
{NUM9} -> {u}
{MIN} -> {assist}
{NUM4} -> {w}
{NUM5} -> {look}
{NUM6} -> {e}
{ADD} -> {hit $target}
{NUM1} -> {flee}
{NUM2} -> {s}
{NUM3} -> {d}
{NUM0} -> {bash}
{NUMDEL} -> {c $castspeed '$attackspell' $target}
{Shift+NUM8} -> {open exit north}
{Shift+NUM9} -> {open exit up}
{Shift+NUM4} -> {open exit west}
{Shift+NUM6} -> {open exit east}
{Shift+NUM2} -> {open exit south}
{Shift+NUM3} -> {open exit down}
{Ctrl+NUM8} -> {close exit north}
{Ctrl+NUM9} -> {close exit up}
{Ctrl+NUM4} -> {close exit west}
{Ctrl+NUM6} -> {close exit east}
{Ctrl+NUM2} -> {close exit south}
{Ctrl+NUM3} -> {close exit down}
{Ctrl+NUM0} -> {bash $target}
{Alt+NUM8} -> {n;kill $target}
{Alt+NUM9} -> {u;kill $target}
{Alt+NUM4} -> {w;kill $target}
{Alt+NUM6} -> {e;kill $target}
{Alt+NUM2} -> {s;kill $target}
{Alt+NUM3} -> {d;kill $target}
{DIV} -> {ride minu}

So (works for me on 29 ms link, but not on 70, and need to use hotkeys):
watch, where it flees, <dir>, kill $target
But problem is, will I be accused of actionhunting when I do so?

2006/02/07 03:54, Ramangth:
p(Tars) has been playing for like what.. 6 years? Why would he just start using triggers now? Or if he's been using them for awhile, why has he never been caught?

Also, from what I've seen p(Tars) isn't even that active anymore, unless he has new chars I don't know about and just never plays his old ones. Given the player, I'd give the benefit of the doubt on this one.

2006/02/07 04:43, Materia:
Personally, I dont think pTars would actionhunt, but this does look suspicious. I have logs of faster/more 'luck' from others though.
I dont see Tars cheating though.

2006/02/07 07:14, Angeldark:    -Tempus-
And Lukas is clueful(not) as always.
Only a total retard uses same regenspot 10 years in row and doesnt even reveal or bother to track.But whines like baby after he dies to his own lazyassness.
'Why gac my corpse, whaaa!!???I want mama*CRYYYYY*'

2006/02/07 08:01, Sardotjen:
Where did I call him a cheater Thrag you fucking retard? I only said it looked suspicious.

2006/02/07 08:24, User requested to be deleted:  edited 1x
that w s e n says it all :P tars was expecting a low victim at moors and set actionhunt on

2006/02/07 08:47, Luke:
Well i play with/versus p(Tars) often and i didn't think once he could be using actions, thats why i think it can be just luck.
In your dream Angeldark? So you stabbed me once to wounded when you hided in leaves with notracks, congratulation retard.

2006/02/07 09:58, Angeldark:    -Tempus-
Lukas you didnt get it, again(doesnt suprise me tho)

2006/02/07 10:37, Kao:
Well, with my link (300ms) i can say it is kinda impossible to be successful on those 8 moves.. Like 2 ppl made it against me, but only like 5 rooms...
Zubr lagged?

Anyway, Zubr is experienced enough to make diference on lucky and actions, and Tars is experienced enough to dont need action fol... Well, and im just not experienced enough to judge :D

2006/02/07 11:01, Thrag:
lol, sartodjen calling someone retarted. Let me make it simpler for you: When it is your friends; they have 'super human reflexes', but when it isn't then it 'looks fishy'. Clear?

2006/02/07 11:07, Rootsikunn:    -Tempus-
Hej Zubr is fast player, if he sez he was actionfolled it was so,
now Namo log on plz.

2006/02/07 11:23, Dragóth:
i dont know, almost same thing happened to me yday. sometimes you just have luck it seems.

2006/02/07 11:45, Björn:
If he had been cheating, Zubr would never have gotten away? =P

2006/02/07 13:46, Marillion:
*bonk Björn*

2006/02/07 14:03, Sardotjen:
Thrag lets just agree this look fishy, ok dumbfuck? Or am I not entitled to an opinion cause one of my friends has cheated in the past?

2006/02/07 14:11, Salazar:
*bonk Björn* :P

And Dragoth, that was prespam hit+bash, I sent you the log. In this case he follows but Zubr is able to make one 'Alas, you can't go that way' which proves that prespam is not the case here.

2006/02/07 21:18, Gamli:
The fact that he follows correctly after every flee is a bit of a giveaway too? Can't prespam like that by fluke so often there.

2006/02/08 06:48, Thrag:
*sigh* Sardotjen, everyone is entitled to an opinion, of course. But when you have such a clearly different set of standards for one set of people then another it makes your opinion invalid. It is annoying to see someone say such hateful things as you have on behalf of someone WHO WAS ACTUALLY CHEATING, but this looks 'fishy'.

Tars has always been fast. Probably a lot faster then your cheater friends. But Zubr is a good, fast player so who knows.

2006/02/08 08:04, Sardotjen:
I dont have different set of standards you're just taking stuff out of thin air, I aint saying any hateful things on behalf of anyone but myself. I know Tars is quite fast but what he did in this log is not something that is possible just because you're fast. Its not even a logical so saying it was a fortunate spam is hard. Now I challange you you dumbfuck to dig up a log of Mazush (or what other cheater friends do I have?) where he does something similiar and I try to defend it.

2006/02/08 08:18, Britney:
Flamewars are fun :D

2006/02/08 09:00, User requested to be deleted:
shaddap?

2006/02/08 20:09, Devastator:
I really doubt this was actionhunt. I've chased people around like that too, just looks like some lucky thing. Tars walked out of the room and his follower was a couple of times faster hitting, also Zubr walked out after this small incident. Unless Tars thought he'd turn on his so called trackactions on for 5 seconds I don't see any reason to accuse Tars.

2006/02/08 23:14, Bagger:
Even if it was cheating, does it matter if Zubr lived??!? I'd say actionfollow as much you like if you let the victim live!

2006/02/09 00:14, Snarp:
Well under the circumstances, it appears odd. 30ms players being followed correctly in 8 rooms of different directions.

2006/02/10 07:14, Roan:
Made many many kills at moors with this tactic.

1.troll follows, directions 2.troll hits then 1.troll assists not sure its doable if your spamming direction, bash though cause the bash delay slows you down if target flees.

In this log I dont see any time where tars hits first so I dont think its unlikely that he uses the same subs as most people.

FLEES EAST >>>>> LEAVES NORTH ^^^^^.

etc etc but if your claiming he prespammed the directions then hes clearly cheating because kravej would have hit and he would have prespammed out of the room and had to come back

Doesnt look like cheating to me, sorry and I'm usually the first one to point the finger.

Come back with a log where Woland Stolb track you over 100 rooms in 40 seconds and I'll have your back when the bans start flying.

2006/02/10 07:18, Roan:
Btw dont take being accused of cheating personally, I got grilled for 20 minutes by gods last year for standing on ford spamming kill elf :)

Elf flees west comes back i hit elf flees east comes back i hit about 10 times till it died.

Best part he didnt accuse me of action hitting he posted a 20 page log claiming I action tracked him from eregoin. Which was handy since I dont have track :)

Sometimes yah just gotta let the whiners, whine :) Its not like we value their opinions, we just accept their right to have them.

2006/02/10 13:45, Nero:
Didn't spend much time on it, but this all I found lately Sartojen. There was a better on about 'anyone thinking actions help is a newbie' but it seems to be deleted or something.

[submitted link]
"Thing is, I talked to Sardotjen yesterday about this.
He was complaining about how Namo didnt have any proof and jsut demoted cause he was mad blablablabla. Then he mentioned that he thought mazush was the fastest player in MUME. With godlike reflexes!'

2006/02/10 14:22, Eiluvial:
Mazush IS the fastest player in mume and he will always be.

2006/02/10 14:39, Sardotjen:edited 1x
Wheres the similarity Nero? If Mazush would've been using actions in that log there are two places where he for some reason stopped. When Alghazanth fled w on river and where he fled e, and no they are not noride. Why stop actionhunting when your prey is nearly dead? And Mazush hunted in plausible directions, something Tars did not.

I never said 'Mazush has godlike reflexes', thats just something Faint made up. Though I said he's very fast, which he is.

2006/02/10 17:00, Amras:
MaZusH mastah blastah aka powder puff gal!

2006/02/11 15:37, Ranka:
roflmao! Tars have playing 6 years... It dosen't care how many years he have played... one year, two years, ten years or one hundred years. If I played 6 years, then I may use action and if anyone suspect something, then I tell him: Noway, I have played 6 years! and he tell me, Ok, I beleive u. This years dosen't have any 'effect' vs cheating.

2006/02/11 15:45, Ranka:
also I am playing one other PK MUD about 6 years. There are actions allowed but I don't use actions there, because sometimes actions may kill self (forgot PK actions ON, or hit wrong target wrong place etc.) :) There I know 100% all areas but if anyone flees some direction in open area (room to 3 or more dirs, never ever I don't spam directions as same way as victim) even if I try. Or if I hit same direction then it takes some day (not so fast as tars here, human reactions ARE NOT SO FAST). It's impossible manually to hit same dirs so fast. And also this 'fast link' fairy tales is bull shit.

And looking 'victim' log don't show nothing and also you can proof it.

2006/02/12 12:41, Elestir:
Do you have a timestamped version of this log, Zubr?
It would be lot more convincing to see it with the delays...

2006/02/15 19:38, Sol:edited 2x
Unfortunately, it's hard to prove that someone is using actions. However, anyone who says that this doesn't look the slightest bit suspicious is either a cheater or a fool.

The probability of getting as lucky as he did is ridiculously low, as Luke pointed out. Zubr was fleeing, so he cannot choose the direction he moves, which shoots down any theory of Tars using logic. The only other way he could have done this without actions is relying on human reaction time. Call me crazy, but I think it's absurd to think that the people with the fastest reflexes in the world all just happen to play MUME. Humans are slow and there is a very simple way to prove it.

Acc due to gravity is 9.81 m/s/s. Get a ruler (metric) and hold it just above the test subject's thumb and index finger. Drop it without warning and see where his thumb is when it is caught... Do some math (assuming the defense has the capacity) and determine the reaction time. Apply it to MUME, damn it! If Tars isn't cheating, he should play the lottery.

2006/02/15 19:51, Sol:
By the way, you're safe prespamming in the open with a 200ms link, in case anyone is comparing link speed. Let's just say someone with a 50ms link is chasing you... and their reaction time is about 250ms... 250ms reaction time plus the 50ms link = an overall reaction time of 300ms. Compare that to the 200ms random direction, which has no human reaction time added to it. Safe by a mile.
