I think novoid is not enough to get PK rip. They entered and killed *elf* pretty quickly and just troll got a few hits from charmies. So there was no PK damage to darkies, so as they were later killed by mobs they were not protected via significant PK damage and as both hunters and giant ripped it prolly took some time.
Btw isn't lithe orc capable to rescue, a bit surprised he survived his master?
